 Praying for all federal workers in this trying time.  🇺🇸 A Prayer for Our Nation During Government Shutdown 🇺🇸 Heavenly Father, We come before You on behalf of the United States of America during this time of uncertainty and disruption. Lord, as our federal government enters 21 days into a shutdown that affects millions of families, workers, and communities, we ask for Your divine intervention. Father, step in. Remind our leaders—Democrats, Republicans, and all in positions of power—that it is not about personal agendas, party pride, or political gamesmanship. It is about the people they serve, the families affected, and the future being shaped by every decision they make. “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”—Mark 3:25 God, we ask You to tear down walls of pride and division in Washington. Replace them with wisdom, humility, and a spirit of cooperation. Remind our leaders that they are public servants, not rulers, and they are accountable first...

 A poem I wrote comparing life to a road we travel.  The road ahead is quite uncertain Like a window behind the curtain We may not know what lies ahead But trust and hope for where we’re lead As we embrace the twists and turns We can find that for which one yearns The sun can burn so bright one day But clouds and night can block our way And some don’t heed life’s warning signs Speeding, swerving through the lines And so with all of these we travel Pavement, dirt roads and some gravel We may travel at a different pace But life’s roads need not be a race

 St. Faustina was a Polish Nun initially rejected from her convent. Despite very humble beginnings, she brought much richness and graces to the Church. Her visions of Jesus and His message about His Mercy enriched our understanding of God’s Mercy and Grace. Today Christ’s message of Divine Mercy is a staple among the Church’s teachings.
