Lend a Hand Poem

Some days life is tough; and we can't understand
And that's when we may look for someone to lend a hand
But sometimes that someone happens to be our self
Whether we make it known, or conceal it in stealth
After all, we're all people with our problems to share
But it helps to have people you can count on to care
Be it family, be it friends, be it complete strangers
We never really know how people are life changers
Lend a hand, take a risk, even if for yourself
For in time, you may find a lasting sense of wealth
The unknown can be fierce; like a tiger hunting pray
But it beats the routine of another dull day
If you find nothing changes, then perhaps it's for the best
No one can really thrive without being put to the test
Outside of comfort zones are where things tend to grow
Otherwise we think and wonder, but never really know
