With some current trends tending to further this drastic inequality, charities like Oxfam do what they can to help turn the tide. Investing in poor communities, teaching about self-sufficiency, opposing the international arms trade, and promoting wise use of resource management, Oxfam does its part to help create a more just and peaceful world.
