Since 1942, Oxfam America has undertook many missions to develop as a charitable organization. A recent Oxfam Davos report shows that 62 individuals own the same as half of the world. With some current trends tending to further this drastic inequality, charities like Oxfam do what they can to help turn the tide. Investing in poor communities, teaching about self-sufficiency, opposing the international arms trade, and promoting wise use of resource management, Oxfam does its part to help create a more just and peaceful world.
