Christmas In My Heart
Today a gift is given, so that we may give to others
A savior has come to us, we need not fear
Let us live in love, and spread this cheer
Now is a time for reflection, time for light-hearted joy
He wants us to be happy like a kid with a new toy
It’s only once a year, but should be for each day
To receive God’s greatest gift, no one has to pay
There’s something about Christmas that makes things alright
Although there will be darkness, it won’t drown out the light
So let my prayer tonight be one for all the lands
That people may know the peace Jesus commands
For now, I ask for the courage to start
By living each day with Christmas in my heart
