Chaos Of The Mind Poem

Chaos of the mind

Creates things that aren’t there

Even those behind

Form new things from thin air

Fear will take the wheel

When we let our hands go

Steering us down roads

We wish we didn’t know

Free will is a choice

Not everyone will use

The silence of our voice

The worst form of abuse

Our heart still beats in protest

Anticipating change

Forget this new normal

Give us what is strange

Questions lead to answers

So take care in which you ask

Sometimes all of us

Are forced to wear a mask

If you feel offended

I still reach out in love

My spirit hasn’t ended

It still seeks who’s above
