Warmth in Winter Poem

Some winters can be dark and cold

Yet there is some light that unfolds

As trees go bare and earth gets hard

We can share a smile, laugh or card

Tea by the fire, or on the porch

Is the desire to light the torch

Inside or out we still can bring

Some happy moments till the springs

So whether snow or icy rain

Go on and do the best you can

Winter's chill won't last forever

And we can still have lasting treasure
