 People got problems big as a mountain

Achin to drink from life's purest fountain

Any which way the wind blows; seems that's where were destined to be

Just when ya think this trouble will let up

Then comes the switch and you can't hold your head up

We've all been there before

But not anymore

There is a new dawn on the horizon

Just like a phone bill paid to Verizon

We've got ourselves together whatever will be

Take care of yourself whatever you do

Be there for yourself like I'm here for you

Let's live on love forever; whatever will be

My latest poem about moving an living away from home.  From the day that I left I knew it was for the best I learned a lot on my own Made efforts not to be alone Life’s had its share of ups and downs Setbacks, failures, turnarounds Yet through it all, hope shines on Brighter than the sun at dawn I know it’s not a perfect world Like one big mess in which we’re hurled So much need despite our wealth Much illness among our health And so I’m grateful for it all As I rise up from my fall There never was a better day Than the one that’s not thrown away
