New Poem: "I Am a Writer"

 I am a writer; both humble and proud

Sometimes I keep quiet, others I'm loud 

Ideas in my head and hope in my heart

I do my best to make my own art

Some days just don't go as well as I'd like

But with my head up, I say "Blues, take a hike!"

Yes, I am a writer; both humble and proud

And I'm never alone if 3 is a crowd.
