Forever Young-My Tribute To Pete Seeger

Pete Seeger's vision for positive living will remain "forever young" in all those seeking a more just world.  This is my version of one of his classics.


May god bless you and preserve you, in every word and deed

May you share life’s many blessings with those hurt in their need

May you shun all forms of blindness, of which greed is one

And may you remain forever young

 

May you pave a path of kindness, despite a world of hate

May you follow inner guidance before it’s too late

May you strive to leave hope for many years to come

And may you remain forever young

 

May you care not much for praise, but be true to yourself

May you nurture love that is by far the most pure wealth

May you wait upon your victory, it will surely be sprung
