Campfire Poem

My poem written while our family was camping upstate (Hearthstone Campground).

Campfire
Our campfire burns warm and bright,
Giving off heat to the dark cold night.
It gives off smoke to the mountain air.
It gives us light in an orange glare.
Burning the wood to a crisp black ash,
The occasional sparks and the night air clash.
Our campfire burns ever-strong,
And it’s by the campfire where we belong.
