Because I Know it Exists #Perspective
For an eighteen year old, I've read an extraordinary amount of books, articles and have seen many documentaries showing, in various forms, the troubles of our times. I've tried to find solutions from this spew of information and share them with those around me. However, I keep in my mind the assurance that I am ultimately accountable to one unbiased judge in my life. Realizing that I choose what to accomplish, whom to relate with, and what to believe, I formulate the world I want to see around me. Doing this allows me to stay on task and manage stress because I know there are plenty of others who are like me. Indeed I've already met a bunch. As I expand my knowledge and experience, I do so with the recognition that this will help me to fine tune the world I'd like to see exist. I've shared what I feel to be relevant information in the areas of politics, health, culture and others, but haven't let these control me. I am more than what I absorb and reiterate. We all have important things to share with others and that is what makes our world and keeps it functioning well. This is why it is crucial to really try to understand where other people are coming from and what they've been through before judging them and eliminating potentially helpful people from one's life. It is the path which, despite failures, I earnestly strive to follow.
