Book Review: Re-Made in the USA by Todd Lipscomb
I’ve read many motivational books on issues which I’m passionate about, but this one may very well top the list. A former international executive, making a lucrative living in Asia, Todd Lipscomb provides a sound basis for the made in USA cause on many fronts. He cites our increasing trade deficit, which cannot continue without major reform, China’s lack of commitment to worker safety and environmental conditions, our rising un and under-employment rates and potential threats to national security. Rebuilding our decrepit manufacturing base is a major solution to these issues, but it won’t happen overnight. Lipscomb urges all Americans-regardless of income, political beliefs or societal position to take a determined stand for our nation. Also included are writings from made in USA business leaders, who supply the products for his website: MadeinUSAForever.com. From beginning to end, this book is a much needed dose of facts, implications and potential outcomes. Highly recommended for all concerned Americans.
