I Could Write Another Poem

 I could write another poem

About another world to roam

And I can sing another song

With all notes right and nothing wrong

But the best has been said and done

To bring it back, so far has none

We can merely imitate

An era that was beyond great

And so a toast do I now raise

To the glory of the former days

This modern world's been bought and sold

Not all that glitters is truly gold

I think I'll sing another song

One that doesn't run too long

And then I'll write another poem

About another world to roam
